advice from a mom

i'm really blessed with some great models of motherhood in my life. here's some advice i received via email from one of my favorite mamas.

There are moments of crazy happiness and a lot of moments where you think "what have I done with my life?". Remind yourself that each stage goes really fast, so treasure the good stuff and push past the tough stuff. Remember to invest in the relationship that gave you this bundle of joy, and not put it on the back burner for too long.

the "what have i done with my life" is a question jp and i already ask ourselves sometimes. we are so excited but are also fully aware that things will never be the same as when it was just the two of us. that's scary. and i appreciate when people address that doubt or exhaustion. it's not all baby's breath and soft skin. there's a lot of poop and stinkiness in there too.

we'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback! be honest but also, and as your mother taught you, be kind.
